Kate Lance is a registered architect. She graduated from Sydney University in 2002 with Bachelor of Science (Architecture) and Bachelor of Architecture degrees, with first class honours. She studied at the Institute of Classical Architecture in New York on a 3 month scholarship.

She then worked as a graduate architect with Lend Lease Design, a Bovis Lend Lease company, where she was involved with local and international urban master planning and conceptual design of retail, commercial, residential, and mixed use projects. See (www.bovislendlease.com).

Kate then worked as a registered architect for Andrew Burges Architecture in Sydney. She completed residential design and construction projects in Sydney, the Northern Beaches and surrounds. Kate has also worked as a tutor in Architecture at the University of Canberra.

Kate has been the principal architect at Lance Workshop since 2006.
