Lance Workshop is so named to evoke the sense of something crafted in a workshop: a carefully considered item, something designed and crafted with real intention.

Lance Workshop is the work of Kate and Henry Lance who moved from Sydney to the mountains in 2006; partly to escape the rat race but mostly to create beautiful architecture in a beautiful environment, without the limitations and constraints of the city.

We embrace the mountain lifestyle – the snow, the storms, the volatile weather, the raw beauty; we understand what it takes to build a home in this environment. We believe in honest materials, highly considered orientation of the dwelling, satisfying and extending the clients wishes, and always creating a ‘wow factor’.
